Arline carries over 13.5 million passengers between Italy and the U.S.
Delta is celebrating 25 years of service to the cities of Milan and Rome. The inaugural nonstop flights touched down from New York on Nov. 1, 1991. Since then the airline, which has grown its network between Italy and North America, has carried over 13.5 million passengers between Italy and United States.

“Our on-board product has developed enormously from when we started in 1991 adding entertainment, Wi-Fi and fully flat-bed seats but we still offer the same levels of customer service that have made us the favourite U.S. airline serving Italy,” said Patrizia Ribaga, Delta's Sales Manager - Italy. “Strong air links to the U.S. - such as Delta’s - are key to realizing benefits for the Italian economy in terms of exporting Italian goods to the U.S. as well as supporting inbound tourism to Italy.”

Customers travelling in the Delta One business class cabin will enjoy fully flat-bed seats and a range of seasonal dining options accompanied by wines selected exclusively for Delta by Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson. The airline’s focus on partnering with premium brands extends to providing business class guests with Westin Heavenly Inflight Bedding from Westin Hotels & Resorts and TUMI amenity kits featuring products by Kiehl’s Since 1851.

Customers flying in Delta Comfort+ benefit from up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than Main Cabin seats, as well as priority boarding. Auguri a DL, che è la mia preferita tra le US. Speriamo che prima o poi (ri)mettano ATL tutto l'anno (molto meglio come hub rispetto a JFK).

Mi stupisce Las Vegas la terza destinazione piu' richiesta da Milano.

La California è ovvia, sapendo che non è servita e che ha certi numeri di pax annui. San Francisco prima di Los Angeles, perché a Los Angeles si può arrivare con Alitalia nella summer, a San Francisco mai.

Las Vegas al terzo posto perché non non ci sono voli diretti neanche da Parigi, Amsterdam, Francoforte e Monaco, quindi si fa scalo o a Londra o negli USA

LAS ha ormai ben poco di quando nacque. Sono stati bravi a diversificare. E' oggi un centro mondiale dei congressi "con dei casinò e centri di intrattenimento". Insomma è una città a tutti gli effetti. Anche il basket, football hanno ora stadi da grande città perché l'economia è diversificata e la popolazione in crescita. Convegni medici, presentazioni auto e prodotti di ogni genere. E' una città "concentrata" che ha tutto. E' vicinissima al Grand Canyon, a Vryce Canyon alla diga di Hoover quindi piena di vere attrattive turistiche anche naturalistiche.
C'è poi anche la base AFB di Nellis che movimenta molto traffico sperimentale oltre alla abituale pattuglia dei Thunderstorm.
C'è poi la nuova superfabbrica batterie auto elettriche con qualche migliaio di operai. Tutta gente che si muove. Quindi anche un turismo e business "outgoing". Cominciano ad essere sostenute anche le richieste dei residenti di LAS verso l'Italia.

Non è un azzardo pensare che anche qualche T.o. italiano possa cominciare a pensare a 2-3 charter settimanali che "hubbizzino" la California, Arizona e dintorni.

Delta. Non ha hub a LAS ma il suo JFK va molto bene e "pesca" molto a Nord di NY.
Boston per me rimane un buon potenziale: oltre al p2p hanno molti voli su Florida, Caraibi, California, Michigan, Georgia, Canada, Chicago, Washington. Potrebbero usarli per coincidenze.
