Turkish ordina Airbus

Huge Airbus order from Turkish Airlines.

The airline has opted for 250 narrowbody, 90 widebody & 5 freighter aircraft.

The order consists of :

250 Airbus A321neo
5 Airbus A350F
75 Airbus A350-900
15 Airbus A350-1000

This order also includes the 10 A350 purchase agreement signed on 6 September.

Un paio di considerazioni.
Airbus con il 321neo ha fatto bingo. E visto che il 737-10 è un concorrente con le armi piuttosto spuntate e al momento Boeing non ha lanciato nessun nuovo progetto per la sostituzione del loro venerando NB, non serve la sfera di cristallo per prevedere un futuro assai brillante per il 321.
La seconda considerazione riguarda il limitato numero di A350-1000 ordinati. Scelta che sembra lasciare spazio ad un ampio ordine di 779 nel pacchetto delle circa 250 commesse che TK dovrebbe riservare a Boeing.

13.11.2023 - Our Incorporation's Aircraft Orders as Part of Its 2023-2033 Strategic Plan

Our Incorporation has been engaging in discussions with aircraft and engine manufacturers as part of the growth targets set forth in the Strategic Plan covering between 2023-2033 period. In this context, discussions with Airbus for the purchase of 355 aircraft—240 firm and 115 optional— to be delivered between 2026-2036 are ongoing. Necessary announcements will be shared with the public following to the Board of Directors' approval.
