Armando Brunini elected to lead European airport association
Barcelona, 28 June 2023: European airports’ trade association, ACI EUROPE (Airports Council International) yesterday held its General Assembly as part of its 33rd Annual Congress and General Assembly, hosted by Spanish airport operator Aena in Barcelona.
During the General Assembly, Mr Armando Brunini, CEO of SEA Milan Airports – Aeroporti di Milano Linate e Malpensa, was elected to lead the organisation as its President. He succeeds Javier Marín, Executive Vice President of Aena.
Upon his appointment, Mr Brunini said “In the ‘VUCA’ era of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity, the role that ACI EUROPE plays in contributing to the future landscape of sustainable and progressive aviation has never been more important. I am honoured to serve the 560-strong, diverse community of airport members across 55 European countries, and their business partners. ACI EUROPE continues to stand as the effective and respected voice of Europe’s airports and to act as a unique centre of expertise. I especially look forward to engaging with the EU and pan-European institutions as well as ACI EUROPE’s network of industry and societal stakeholders”.

Uno in meno, grazie.

Re: Armando Brunini elected to lead European airport association
