Turkish Airlines has struck a lease deal with AerCap covering 10 additional Airbus A321neos, with further orders anticipated in 2024, as the carrier seeks to grow to 813 aircraft by 2033.
“Today we have 458 aircraft. We currently have the ninth-largest fleet in the world,” Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi told delegates at the recent ACI Europe Annual Congress and General Assembly in Istanbul. “By 2033, we will have the third-largest fleet in the world, with 813 aircraft.”
Earlier in 2024, Turkish Airlines CFO Murat Şeker said the fleet will grow to 484 aircraft by the end of 2024, up from 440 in 2023. […]
